四、主讲人研究背景介绍

Jakob Thomassen
Jakob Thomassen

Jakob Thomassen is a biomedical engineer and neuroscientist. He is the author of papers on biomedical recording techniques, eye movements and neurophysiology. Jakob joined Cambridge Research Systems as a Staff Scientist in January 2013, having previously worked as a Research Fellow in laboratories in Switzerland and the USA.

Caterina Ripamonti
Caterina Ripamonti

Caterina (Katia) Ripamonti has recently joined Cambridge Research Systems from UCL Institute of Ophthalmology, where she retains an Honorary Senior Research Fellowship. She is also an Honorary Research Fellow at Moorfields Eye Hospital. Katia is the author of various papers on human colour vision, spatial and temporal properties of normal and defective vision, and applied aspects of colour science related to human factors, as well as the co-author of the book Computational Colour Science using MATLAB.

  • [1] The spatial, temporal, and colour resolution of Display++.
  • [2] The built-in Bits# technology.
  • [3] The calibration and characterization process performed at the factory.
  • [4] Additional characterization processes performed by the end-user.
  • [5] The use of custom-made CRS functions, used for example to establish new connections with serial port devices.
  • [6] Triggering other equipment.
  • [7] Troubleshooting problems.

During the workshop we will discuss the main features of Display++ and their role in generating accurate and high-resolution visual stimuli using MATLAB and PsychToolbox-3.
